* Reduced Price:

A limited number of Reduced Price tickets are available for the event.

Reduced Price tickets are available for people with financial need: eg. students, under-, un-, and precariously employed. While we will not be asking for any proof of financial need, we ask that you use your discretion when selecting this option. If you can afford a regular price ticket (eg. through institutional funding or your own means), please select that option as it helps to subsidize tickets for those in need.

MAB23 strongly values equity, diversity, inclusion, and access. As part of this commitment, Reduced Price tickets are also available for self-identifying members of equity-seeking groups.

We encourage Black and Indigenous people, people of colour, women, LGBTQ2S+ individuals, persons with disabilities, and other communities that are under-represented within our disciplines to attend.

Information about other supports

We also aim to support people in financial need with travel, accessibility, and personal care support subsidies and accommodations. All attendees will have the opportunity to indicate needs and preferences, as well as apply for support funds once they have registered. Funds available for travel, accessibility, and personal care support subsidies will depend on the number of applications received. While we cannot guarantee that all requests will receive funding, we will try our best to help as many people as possible.

Please contact our Equity, Access, and Belonging Coordinators if you have any questions
